Stay

Main Cottage

Fort Fabulous

The heart of the campground.

Our main cottage is the gathering place of the campground. It has large porches for guests to enjoy the view of the lake, and a Great Room stocked with books and games for guests to enjoy. Fort Fabulous has indoor showers, flush toilets, a fully stocked kitchen, and a pantry. It also has a sauna that is now open to guests.

Staying in the Lakeview Room

The Lakeview room gets it’s name from – you guessed it! – the beautiful view of the lake. It’s the only indoor accommodation available inside of Fort Fabulous, and is located right across from the indoor washroom. It has two twin-sized bunk beds and can sleep four people in total.
The Lakeview room is great for anyone who likes being near all the action, as it is also located next to the kitchen! It is also often reserved for people with mobility restrictions who need easy access to the washroom throughout the night.

Cabin

Foxes’ Den

A good night’s rest.

The Foxes’ Den faces the lake and is directly across from Fort Fabulous. It has a gorgeous view and can sleep people in a total of 8 double beds.
The Foxes’ Den doesn’t have it’s own indoor washroom, but fear not – directly outside is an outhouse, and Fort Fabulous’ outdoor washroom is an easy few steps away for those who want a shower and running water.
The Foxes’ Den is often more quiet, and we encourage guests in there to keep noise to a minimum so others can easily get rest while staying on the property.

Activity Hall

Glitter Palace

The Glitter Palace is where all the fun happens! It’s adorned with two large decks – one that can be easily converted into a stage – and is surrounded by large beautiful gardens. The Glitter Palace is a magical shapeshifter that has taken the form of a cafe, a classroom, a backstage to a drag show, and more!

Whatever activity you have in mind, the Glitter Palace will not disappoint.

Private Campsites

Get back to nature.

Fox Haven has over 50 campsites for guests to set up their tents in, ranging from dense forest, sandy beach, to rocky Canadian shield. Our campsites offer a chance to get right back to nature – they don’t include hookups to hydro or water. Guests however can easily access outlets and running water at the buildings on site.

Whether you choose to snuggle up in one of our compact campsites in the forest or stretch out in a larger campsite by the lake, you’ll be blessed with the opportunity to experience the beauty of the north.
